Photography Workshop with Ahmet Ertuğ

The Fondazione Le Stanze della Fotografia presents a workshop in english with Ahmet Ertuğ, an internationally renowned photographer specializing in architectural heritage. On the occasion of the exhibition Ahmet Ertuğ. Beyond the Vanishing Point, participants will have the unique opportunity to delve into his work, engage directly with the artist, and experience his creative methods firsthand.
MORNING – Talk and Guided Tour
10:30 AM – 12:00 PM | Introduction to My Point of View
Ahmet Ertuğ will introduce his photographic approach, sharing the origins of the works on display and reflecting on the architectural vision that guides his gaze. This will be a chance to understand his quest for balance between light, form, and memory.
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM | Lunch
AFTERNOON – Practical Workshop
1:00 PM – 2:30 PM | Practical Photography Workshop
After lunch, the workshop will move to the practical session, where participants can apply Ertuğ’s guidance, focusing on photographing the architectural heritage on San Giorgio Island.
2:30 PM – 4:00 PM | Discussion and Review of Results
The day will conclude with a group review session of the works created, during which Ertuğ will provide personalized feedback and creative insights to help improve participants’ photographic practice.
Participants are required to bring their own complete photographic equipment, including camera, memory card, and fully charged batteries.
This is a unique opportunity to engage with a master of architectural photography, explore new visual languages, and immerse yourself in a day of intense creative work.
